The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Credit Controller on behalf of our client in Newton Le Willows Merseyside.
This role is directly permanent with our client
£24,000-£26,000 per annum ( dependant on experience)
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.00 or 9.00 till 5.30

· Full training for the role will be provided.

to embrace change. This role will be rewarding for a motivated individual who is keen to develop themselves and help the wider team succeed.

Responsibilities would include:

– Posting payments for direct debits, cheques, bank and ATM payment allocations.
– Unallocated cash – review, resolve and escalate where necessary.
– Chasing Overdue & nearly due (where applicable) debts, ensuring notes are kept up to date at all times – this relates to group members, group tyre customers, 60 day accounts, 30 day accounts, days from (weekly / daily) accounts, and casing invoices.
– Customer service – resolve / escalate customer service queries.
– Customer service – update driver errors spreadsheet as and when it becomes necessary.
– Email / post relevant Monthly statements
– Email / post relevant weekly statements
– Email / post relevant adhoc & regular copy documents
– Chase credits to be raised by the warehouse using the queries log
– Complete budget faulty credits
– Provide assistance with completing credits raised & update errors files where necessary when required.
– Complete the process for opening new customer accounts.
– Complete credit limit reviews (ad-hoc, routine and weekly reviews of accounts near credit
– Run weekly terms reports for cash accounts and update CAMEO accordingly.
– Ledger cleansing – ensure all ledger details are up to date and pass any write off requests

(above 10p) to the Credit Control Manager.
Job Requirements

· Employees must be reliable and have good attendance and punctuality records.
· Credit Control experience and excellent organisation skills.
· Hardworking and a flexible, can-do attitude.
