Our public Sector Client are currently recruiting a temporary Accounts Clerk. This role is based in Ballymena
Hours of work Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Rate of pay £14.17 per hour
Duties:
- Work in conjunction with the Revenue Accounts Manager in the operation and delivery of the Debtors function and associated income. Including processing,validating, income via various methods of income receipt.
- Maintaining the commercial trade waste database to ensure all customer records are accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for Debtor operations and income processes.
- Report operational issues to Revenue Accounts Manager to ensure quality of service is delivered.
Criteria:
A minimum of five GSCE’s to include English Language and Maths (Grades A-C) or equivalent qualification
OR
Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) to include Maths and English or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate numeracy and literacy
AND
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have 2 years’ experience working within a busy finance environment, to include:
- Dealing effectively with a range of stakeholders;
- Efficient use of computerised accounting packages; and
- Working within debt collection processes to ensure positive outcomes for the organisation.
OR, for candidates who do not meet the qualification requirements as outlined above:
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have 4 years’ experience working within a busy finance environment, to include:
- Dealing effectively with a range of stakeholders;
- Efficient use of computerised accounting packages; and
- Working within debt collection processes to ensure positive outcomes for the organisation.
