The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Permanent Area Cleaning Supervisor to work at sites around the Manchester / Lancashire area.

The sites that you would be covering are Manchester, Manchester Airport, Preston, and Liverpool.

You must have Supervisory or Managerial experience within a Cleaning / Facilities Management environment.

The purpose of the role is to supervise and lead a team to drive and provide the
highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene to the Company standards, within the contract specification, and to the agreed performance, qualitative and
financial targets. To also assist the team and work alongside them as required.

• Responsible for all day-to-day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the cleaning service within the contract specification to the agreed performance of all staff under your supervision.
• Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance and general cleanliness to comply with statutory company procedures and Company regulations, wearing company uniform plus PPE, cleaning material ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage as required.
• Carry out daily visual and weekly cleaning checks of staff under your supervision to monitor performance and adherence to Company standards.
• Comply with all company policies/procedures and client site rules and regulations
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management including cleaning as required.
• Ensure that you fully understand the new up to date contract/site specification daily cleans, weekly cleans and the FFD cleans
• Ensure that all staff understand the up-to-date cleaning specification, and that any changes are communicated clearly and trained appropriately
• Have full working knowledge of the areas in the building and bus cleaning rotation daily cleans 8 weekly and FFD’s which are covered by the staff under your supervision.

As you will be Supervising the cleaning on trains and train stations, you will travel to each site by train so you don’t need transport.

The working hours are 40 hours a week – 5 days over 7
You must be flexible with your working hours so that you can spend time at all the sites that you are responsible for.

The salary is £25,064 per annum

This is a permanent position so you will be working directly for the client.
