We are looking for an experienced candidate to take on our Assistant Shipper role in South Molton, EX36 3DW.

Your role as an Assistant Shipper;

The Shipper is responsible for managing the despatch process of Finished Goods, Transfer Parts, and Return Goods to both customers and suppliers.
Equally important is the adherence to OTD and Aerospace Regulations, including IATA Governance. Material movements around the site and raise receivers.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Shipper;

• Authorised to release of dangerous goods, as per IATA Regulations
• Packing goods on picking lists following strict procedures
• Generating despatch and associated documentation
• Ensuring carrier selection is correct dependant on client / destination
• Internal liaison with department heads, Commercial, and P&L teams
• Lean materials management and understand lean principles
• Attend meetings and assist in setting priorities of team
• Acting upon information discussed and implemented during meetings

Our expectations for this role;

• A background in receiving, dispatch, shipping, stores or warehousing is essential.
• Ability to be flexible to meet business needs
• Knowledge of traceability processes
• Good communication and influencing skills required
• IT Literate – Microsoft office experience (Word/Excel, including ability to analyse data in MS Excel)
• Aerospace experience an advantage
