We are currently recruiting a Caretaker to join our team in Ballymena on a temporary ongoing basis
- £12.18 per hour
- Casual hours / on call between 9am – 10pm as and when required, including evenings and weekends
- Immediate start
Job duties:
1. Provide cover at community centres throughout Ballymena Area
2. Be the primary key holder for designated community centre(s) as and when required.
3. Opening and closing the premises
4. Responsible for the security of the Centre
5. Be present on site and provide cover for bookings/activities
6. Ensure that all areas of the Centre are kept in a secure clean and hygienic condition and complete weekly cleaning schedules including the removal of litter or graffiti from the outside of the building on a weekly basis.
7. Other caretaking duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- Have a minimum of 3 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
- Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, a minimum of six months’
experience in the following key areas:
The operation of facilities to include cleaning
and security duties.
Dealing with members of the public and queries.
