Job Title: CNC Operator/ Programmer
Location: Bridgwater
Salary: £27,442 – £34,557 per year
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm to 10:00pm & Friday 6am – 1pm / 1pm – 8pm), Night shift as and when required. A degree of flexibility to working hours will be required during periods of high demand.
Overtime possible.

Here at The Recruitment Co we recruiting for a CNC Operator/ Programmer to join one of our very well established clients in Bridgwater on a permanent basis.

We are looking for an experienced individual to work as part of a well-established precision engineering team. Supporting business activities in Thermoforming tooling and other high- end engineering sectors, we are looking for a candidate with an ability to programme, set and ideally operate milling & turning machinery. The CNC operator / programmer will ideally be able to operate vertical/horizontal machining centres and lathes (YCM, Hedelius, Grob, & Goodway) although this is not
essential, as training will be provided.

Skills, experience, and requirements of the CNC Operator/Programmer:
* Ability to read and interpret machine drawings and models.
* Experience in manufacturing components in a variety of materials to strict tolerances.
* Fluent with Heidenhain/Fanuc controls – able to set and programme machines.
* Support shop floor supervisors and other technical personnel to achieve maximum efficiencies within the CNC Machining Department.
* Must be a team player, capable of working under own initiative.
