Work-from-Home – Customer Service Advisor

Start date: 18th September 2023 you will complete 2 days of training and shifts will be booked in immediately once you’ve finished training.

Pay Rate: £10.90 per hour paid weekly, 1 week in arrears. The pay week runs from Monday to Sunday

Hours/Days: Monday to Friday, shifts are between 8am-9pm.

You will work rotating shifts between these hours so must be fully flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Role: Home based role with regular 1-2-1’s and group meeting calls, coaching etc – Inbound and Outbound Customer service calls to the general public on lines relating to Covid Vaccine bookings

Holidays: No pre-booked holidays are allowed for the duration of the assignment which is 6-8 weeks initially weeks of your start date.

Working from home: You will need to be working at a desk in a quiet area with suitable workspace. It is your responsibility to get the correct set up and you must be working in an area without interruptions or distractions.

Working in the UK: You must be working in the UK for the duration of the assignment, if you are found to be working outside of the UK then you will be liable as the agreement with the government contract is that the work must be carried out in the UK.

You will need a laptop / PC with Windows 10 – Macbooks/ Chromebooks CANNOT be used. The system will need to be Windows 10. You will also need a USB headset for the role.

  • Windows 10 (21H1) or above
  • CPU Gen5 2.4GHz or above
  • 4GB of RAM (preferably 8GB)
  • Browser with HTML5 support (e.g. Google Chrome or Firefox)
  • Antivirus program installed and kept up to date
  • No screen recording software should be installed on the PC
  • Proof of full virus scans periodically will be requested
  • Bandwidth 10-15Mbps minimum
  • USB headset
  • Chromebooks and Macbooks are NOT permitted and are NOT compatible with the softwear.

The role:

  • Working on Covid-19 support lines for the Government
  • You will be multi-skilled trained to work across different Covid related lines
  • You need to be flexible to work across a variety of call lines but all training will be provided for you
