The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Customer Services Adviser for a client based in Worsley (Manchester)
Purpose of the Role:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers/prospective customers seeking to obtain advice about the company’s
products and services. Process / handle all queries and order requests from existing and prospective customers and
make recommendations on the company’s products/services.
Key Responsibilities:
General and Task Management
- Process all customer orders in a timely fashion and promptly deal with all customer enquiries, making
recommendations on the company’s products and services - Escalate problems to other relevant members of staff and keep the customer updated
- Update and manage the company’s customer database
- Track and process orders
- Perform administrative tasks associated with sales
- Make sales & take such steps to ensure sales targets are achieved – this involves taking a proactive approach to
sales - Ensure high level of customer satisfaction
- Focus on sales and generating maximum sales capability from the company’s customers – this will involve focussing
on trends from customers (volume, frequency, and specific ordering), including an analysis to generate more sales
from customers, providing feedback to our Customer Account Managers (and other sales personnel) so those clients
are engaged in a way that actively drives our sales strategy
Self-Management - Assertive, resilient and welcomes change & shows moral courage, openness & honesty in all dealings.
- Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together.
- Proactively contributes to the sales team & actively committed to the teams’ development and achievement of sales
targets. - Is self-aware and optimistic.
Skills and Attributes: - Can build & maintain effective & productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and customers.
- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal & influencing skills. Can handle emergency & stressful situations.
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Can manage time effectively, prioritise tasks & achieve set targets with keen attention to detail.
- Has a commercial & financial awareness with a full understanding of how sales function operates within a business.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
Experience Levels: - Previous experience of working in a sales function preferably within an automotive/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to handle and effectively manage numerous customer accounts.

£27,500 salary negotiable and depending on experience
