Role Purpose:

The Domestic Support Team member will work under the direction of the Domestic Support Team leader and is to provide various domestic support tasks and limited maintenance duties within the Maryfield complex.

Responsible for: Domestic Support and building maintenance tasks.

Currently we are short on cover on Wednesday’s (7 hours), Monday afternoon, Thursday morning and Friday afternoon (4 hours per half day).  It would give around 15-20 hrs a week

Key responsibilities:
 Maintenance of a clean and hygienic working environment across the
Maryfield complex office, treatment and cafeteria facilities
 Set-up of rooms, classrooms and areas for events in accordance with Training
program and Meeting Room Manager (MRM)
 Provision of pre-prepared sandwiches and other foods in the Cafeteria, in
accordance with Training programmes and other requirements, then removal
and cleaning subsequent to meal/break times
 Provision of Tea and Coffee within the Trust’s Cafeteria and break-out areas
 Setting up IT equipment as required (e.g. laptops, projectors etc) in accordance
with MRM
 Disposal of refuse and removal of recyclables in accordance with the Trust’s
recycling policy
 Assisting with Health & Safety matters as required
 Undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably delegated.


Core accountabilities:
 Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards remain high and are maintained throughout
the Maryfield complex
 Ensure Training / Meeting / Classroom setups are prepared for bookings
 Ensure Cafeteria sandwiches and refreshments are available as per bookings
 Work in conjunction with the Infrastructure & Facilities Manager and Domestic
Support Team Lead to continuously improve PRRT Real Estate and facilities.
 Buildings early open up / late lock up responsibilities on rotational basis

Essential Criteria:
 Good time management skills in order to maintain multiple ongoing tasks and
 Knowledge of Health and Safety issues (General) and Control of Substances
Hazardous To Health (COSHH).
 Demonstrable strong team-working skills

Desirable criteria:
 Experience working in domestic support role
 Experience working across internal departments / business units to produce efficient
and effective outcomes

This job description is a reflection of the current position and the job holder will be required to carry out such other duties as may, from time to time, be agreed with the Infrastructure and Facilities Manager. The post holder is required to adopt a flexible approach in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

This post will need CTC Clearance

Starting ASAP for about 4 months or more
