Driver / Labourer – Tiptree – Full time – Temporary to Permanent – Salary negotiable
The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting on behalf of a Family owned and run contractors who specialise in shopfitting and retail. They are recruiting for a dedicated and hardworking driver who will help on site when the opportunity arises to do so. They are hoping to find a person with a ‘can do’ attitude to support their dynamic team who will jump straight in and take advantage of the endless possibilities at this company.

Key responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading tools and materials into the vehicle
• Planning delivery routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner to pre planned locations
• Flexible with working hours and available to do early mornings and late nights
• Willing to help with labouring tasks
• Good organisational and time keeping skills
• Keeping sites clean and general help to fixers

A Driver’s main responsibility is to safely transport materials/tools from one location to another. They must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring that there is enough fuel in the tank at all times for their destination. Drivers will take care of maintenance on interior and cleanliness.

A Labourer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site.

Skills, qualities & experience

• Experience within a similar role
• Ability to self-manage and use your own initiative
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible
• Good communicator
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Willing to do a multitude of tasks
