The Recruitment Co are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client in West Yorkshire.

Our client is a leading company in the Building Services Engineering Sector, and they require a talented individual to join their thriving Electrical Design Engineer Department.

There are a variety of roles available on the Electrical side of Design engineering ranging from Mid level all the way up to principal level.

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

• Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Hevacomp, MEPworx, Amtech, Relux, and DIALux.
• Thorough understanding of calculations in power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting, distribution boards, utilities, controls, mechanical services, and security systems (knowledge of BS 7671, CIBSE, SLL, BS 5839, BS 5266).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Education in a relevant discipline to HND standard or above (Building Services or Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in building services.

• Responsibilities:

• Oversee all design projects at a high level.
• Assist junior team members with technical aspects of project design.
• Provide technical checking and verification of design information.
• Lead client-facing design meetings to establish project design briefs, which will be produced in a report format and distributed to the design team.

Salary: Between £30k to £55k Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 (although there is flexibility to start an hour and a half earlier than 9 or an hour and a half later as long as shift is completed)
