The Recruitment Co are Recruiting a Permanent Electrical / Instrumentation Technician for their client based in Montrose.

Pay: £25,000 – £30,000 DOE

Shifts: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm ( Overtime Available)

Contract: Permanent

Duties:

• Inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, configure and repair a range of industrial process measurement instruments and bespoke test, monitoring and data acquisition devices.
• Ensure that your daily workload is performed efficiently and effectively within agreed turnaround times, in accordance with both approved technical standards, client instructions as well as IRL Quality Standards
• Jointly maintain the Calibration & Certification Database and the Maintenance & Repair filing system
• Assist team members to ensure consistent department performance
• Assist with the training and development of junior team members in relation to jobs to be undertaken and any job-related processes and use of proprietary software

Requirements:

• National Certificate in a related subject and/or an Electrical or Controls & Instrumentation Trade Qualification coupled with relevant experience
• Proficient in the use of computer programs such as MS Office
• Previous Instrument calibration experience
• Experience of ATEX inspections (Desirable)
• Current CompEx Certification or be willing to obtain (Desirable)
• Basic Electronics repair knowledge.
• Onshore and/or offshore Oil and Gas industry experience (Desirable)
