Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ashton Road, Hyde

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, including automated assembly, injection moulding machines, powder coating lines, conveyors, and hydraulic presses.
• Electrical installation work, including armoured cable installations, lighting, and power systems.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities for factory services and equipment.
• Supporting new installations of plant and equipment.
• Identifying potential issues and providing corrective measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical maintenance or installation.
• Apprentice trained or equivalent.
• 18th edition wiring regulations (BS 7671) certification.
• Basic mechanical experience is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a factory environment is preferred.
