Our client, based in Brislington, Bristol, are currently recruiting for Engineering Maintenance Technician

Job Duties:

  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance as part of the PPM system.
  • Responding promptly and repairing breakdowns – electrical and mechanical – so
  • that downtime is reduced to a minimum.
  • Ensuring maintenance records are kept up to date.
  • Being involved in new New Product development where appropriate.

Skills:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Plant maintenance/electrical/mechanical/multiskilled discipline.
  • Ability to operate engineering workshop machinery and equipment.
  • Engineering (or other relevant subject) apprenticeship or qualification at a higher level (HNC A-levels, NVQ level 4, etc) or equivalent experience.

Hours

  • Full time Monday to Friday 40 hours

Pay

  • £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
