Our client, a leading public sector organisation are looking to recruit temporary field trial Assistants to work summer roles in Crossnacreevy.
Pay Rate: £10.94 per hour
Hours of work: 9 am – 5 pm
Both 5 and 4 days per week available
Duration : 5-6 months – Depending on start dates
Start dates available April/May
Duties include:
Assisting scientific staff with field trials, measuring and collecting agronomic data.
Data input and management.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and working to set protocols advantageous.
Working to agreed deadlines and keeping a clean and safe working environment.
The post holder will be required to be sufficiently fit to work outdoors for extended periods including involving bending/stretching, standing/walking and a significant amount of manual handling of (flowering) plant materials for analysis.
Applicants must have the following:
- Experience in lab/field work, data management, working in teams.
- Full driver’s license and personal vehicle preferable.
