Up to £26,676 per annum – dependent on experience
Daventry, Northamptonshire
Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm – 37.5 hours per week

Our long established engineering client based in Daventry is looking to recruit a permanent experienced Mig Welder.

Mig Welder Responsibilities:

• To use MIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, meeting defined production schedules, using the information contained within the works orders
• To supply quality parts & assemblies from jigs & fixtures
• Support the Quality Assurance department with respect to jig & fixture evaluation
• Build welded assemblies for new products and changes to existing products per engineering documents and established production standards
• Work in accordance with any Legislative or company requirements for Health Safety and Environmental
• Preparing and setup of necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs
• Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements i.e. continual improvements
• Review of finished assemblies & parts to ensure accuracy
• Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required

Mig Welder Requirements:

• Previous Mig welding experience essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Focused on quality
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Reliable and conscientious attitude to work
