Our client, a leading public sector organisation, based in Ballykelly are looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join their team.
The role is available immediately for up to 51 weeks
Hourly Pay: £13.52
37 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Maintaining General Ledger/ Resource Accounts
Maintenance of Chart of Accounts in adherence with ANI rationale – Recording & Authorising GL Forms 110-115.
Preparation of monthly accruals on day 3, ensuring excellent attention to detail – correct coding, dates etc.
Direct input of data to ANI i.e. journal entry/ uploads. Issuing inter-company journals to ACNI for uploading.
Continual monitoring and clearance of suspense account.
Production of timely and accurate financial information for SO & DP accountants for inclusion in interim/final resource accounts.
Monthly issue of outstanding Payments on Account to branches.
Monthly issue of Debtors Lists to branches.
Allocation of DSO Legal costs to Business Areas.
Raising Purchase Orders for the branch.
Financial Guidance / Information to Business Areas
Main point of contact for ACNI Coding queries.
Provide accruals advice on month/year end procedures to business areas- informing of deadlines and dealing with branch queries.
Preparation of Transfer of Funds forms for monthly salaries, weekly industrial wages and associated journals.
Preparation of reports and associated journals for monthly VAT return for submission
Preparation of Wage reconciliations.
Preparation of transfer forms relating to Apprenticeship levy & Monthly Payroll Statement including Cycle to Work & Season Ticket journals.
Provide guidance, advice and support to business areas regarding the input/retrieval of financial information to/from the ANI financial system.
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (certs required)
- 2 A levels (certs required)
- Finance experience
