We are currently seeking a temporary ongoing Finance Officer (E02) for our client based in Newcastle

This role will be working 37 hours per week Mon- Fri 8.30-5


Rate of pay £13.40 per hour


Job role


– Generation & monitoring of all purchase orders for the centre;

– Maintaining appropriate records in relation to orders, purchases and deliveries

– Printing appropriate till reports, reconciling income from tills vs reports

– Managing income from climbing wall, swimming groups and other sources

– Invoicing and receipting on Priava

– Managing and processing Worldpay payments

– Managing of Wall Entry software system

– Maintain financial records, as appropriate



– Managing bookings, room allocations, group catering requirements

– Maintaining and updating the Events Perfect system with all course bookings;


Other Duties

– Undertaking Front of House duties as required

– Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation by presenting a neat and tidy personal appearance;

– Attending meetings as required

– Assisting with other administrative duties as required

– Daily till reconciliations for climbing wall users (owned by MI) and corresponding re-charging;

– Reconciliation and lodgement of all funds, including maintenance of all cash directly generated via swimming lessons by external private providers;

– Maintaining and updating the Priava system with all course bookings;

– Weekly export of reports to HOS finance for all bookings- cash, credit card, cheque, and worldpay;

– Maintain financial records (Sun)

– Provision of relevant information to prospective course participants, staff and centre users; &

– Ensure all files and records are maintained as appropriate.

– Any other reasonable duties, as required by TNOC / Sport NI management




? 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths


? Experience of handling cash and managing payments

Experience using Accounting Software

? Experience of working in a customer facing environment

? Experience of managing bookings and general enquiries

? Knowledge and experience of using a range of software packages, including Microsoft Office
