We are currently recruiting a Fire Safety Adviser to join our team in Dundonald 

This role is primarily based in Dundonald however you may be accepted to travel within different areas

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
• £14.53 per hour
• 6 months initially

Job Summary

To remains compliant with its statutory and Department of Health fire safety obligations

Undertake a wide range of fire safety management duties.

Key aspects of the role will include: the provision of staff fire safety advice, assisting with fire risk assessments, fire safety audits, surveying of existing fire safety provisions including drawing mark-ups, liaising with statutory authorities/design teams and the collation of fire related data for governance reporting.

Qualifications

HNC/HND Engineering, Construction, Building Surveying (or equivalent level qualification) with 2 years’ experience. BEng/BSc Engineering, Construction, Building Surveying (or equivalent level qualification) with 1 years’ experience.  Work experience will be considered in-lieu of matching/equivalent qualifications

Essential Experience

Without matching/equivalent qualifications: At least 3 years’ experience in a fire safety compliance role which involved the delivery of complex workplace fire risk assessments/audits.

All candidates: must have excellent organisational skills, be able to demonstrate independent working, supervising staff and be conversant with ICT software (Microsoft Word and Excel).
