The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our clients team based in the Ammanford area.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000 p.a (and pro rota if part time)
Hours: Part-time & Full time hours available
Our client is looking for an experienced HR individual that is driven, able to work in a fast paced environment and enjoys a challenge. Attention to detail and people skills is essential and you will be required to strengthen relations between employee & employer whilst working towards the goals of the company.
Key responsibilities:
- Embed HR policies and procedures across the company, and routinely evaluate their effectiveness, whilst complying with all aspects of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Communicate with senior management and employees as and when changes are made to HR policies and procedures.
- Able to adapt to new HR systems
- Report HR KPIs to senior management, identifying any trends and any discrepancies, together with analysis. The ability to use Excel and Word is essential.
- Prepare employee handbooks.
- Salary reviews with Senior Management and Trade Union.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
- Oversee the recruitment process for all positions, advertising, interviewing candidates and selecting successful candidates.
- Referencing, Right to Work checks, arrange and conduct inductions for all new starters.
- Support managers and supervisors with their people management skills.
- Provide relevant HR training for line managers.
- Oversee the management of staff sickness, holidays, appraisals etc.
- Oversee the management of any disciplinary process to ensure fair and equal treatment of all employees that aligns with employment legislation; including advising managers, conducting investigations, conducting or attending disciplinary hearings and maintaining accurate records.
- Source suitable training support with a goal of upskilling employees at all levels.
