Our client is a producer of fresh vegetables based in Tarleton, Preston, and we are recruiting for experienced Hygiene Operatives to work on a temp to perm basis.

Hours of work:

Nights

8pm-4.30am

5 days out of 7

Must be able to work weekends

Rates of pay:

Experienced hygiene operatives will receive £14 per hour, and Saturdays and Sundays will be paid at £1 extra per hour. A weekly bonus of £40 will be paid for full attendance.

Training rate would be £12.50, but as soon as all training is complete (between 6-12 weeks) the higher rate will be applicable.

Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitation of production machinery
• Completion of hygiene documents
• Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task
• Other adhoc hygiene related tasks
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures

Skills and Experience required:

• Hygiene and/or industrial cleaning experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible approach
• Good communications skills
• Team player.
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar desirable
