Job Title: Junior Project Officer (Construction)

Location: Newport (On-site)

Salary: £29,000 – £30,000 a year

Hours: Full time permanent position Monday – Thursday 08:30-5:00pm and Friday 08:30-4pm

Here at The Recruitment Co we are recruiting a full time Health & Safety Officer (Construction) to work for a company based in Newport and onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist & deputise for Project Manager in:
• Project planning & management
• Preparation of Site Health & Safety documents, Risk Assessment Method Statements
• (RAMS)
• Diamond Core Drilling & Cintec Anchor Installation

Required experience

• Previous experience within the construction industry working on both domestic and commercial projects with a recognised skills qualification, e.g.
• CSCS Card minimum.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of clients and construction professionals.
• Problem-solving and common sense thinking.
• Ability to read and understand the schedules of work and drawings.
• Full clean driving licence
