The Recruitment Co Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to work in Strensall to start ASAP.

Own transport is essential due to location unless you live locally, there is also free parking on site.

Hours/Days: 5 days out of 7 – with weekend working between the hours of 6.30am-7pm

Shifts to cover – 6.30am-2pm and 11.30am-7pm.

Salary: £18,964 per annum

Duties:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dish wash and surrounding areas within the site.
• Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant
• Cleaning and sterilising counter tops, walls and sinks
• Assist with food preparation as required
• Serving on the counter when required
• Stock rotation
• Assisting with daily and weekly deep cleans
• Assisting with deliveries and organising them in the correct storage areas
• Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins
• Providing assistance to front of house and kitchen staff as required

Experience:

• No previous experience required, on the job training will be provided!
• Customer focused and a good communicator
• Excellent team player
