The Recruitment Co are looking for line leaders, or those with potential to learn, to join a busy fruit factory in the Hawthorn Bank area of Spalding.

This is a temporary position but ongoing for the foreseeable future and may lead to a direct contract for the right candidate.

You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment leading a team of production operatives, of 8 to 12 people, completing the paperwork recording all stock used and produced. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the line and expected to meet targets.

No previous experience necessary but you must have:

• Good attention to detail
• Good numeracy skills to complete line sheets
• Fast paced and methodical
• Committed to hit targets
• Speak and understand the English language

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train line workers, maintaining morale and discipline, reporting any failing to the supervisor.
• Ensure the efficient running of the line, including ensuring adequate resources (labour and materials)
• Liaise with different members of the team to ensure products are graded, packed and labelled correctly.
• To complete production line sheets accurately and clearly to provide smooth information flow.
• Follow and enforce health and safety and hygiene standards, food safety and quality policies, and coronavirus procedures

Shift as a Line Leader:

This is a full-time position rotating weekly between morning and afternoon shift, with every other weekend off.

Morning shift: 5.30am – 14:30pm

Afternoon shift: 14:30pm – finish (varies from approximately 22:00pm – 2am)

Pay rate as a Line Leader:

Whilst in Training: £11.26 per hour and £16.90 per hour overtime after 40 hrs per week (32 hrs pm shift per week) & £22.53 on a Sunday

When Fully Trained: £11.80 per hour and £17.71 per hour overtime after 40 hrs per week (32 hrs pm shift per week) & £23.61 on a Sunday
