The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our clients growing team based in the Llanelli area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £34,594p.a (up to £40,014 inc all SA)

Hours of work: Full time: Variable shifts

Responsible For:

The role will require the coordination of maintenance trades to support planned and unplanned activities. The use of business systems and documentation to support business needs.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Maintenance or similar
• Time served apprenticeship

Key Requirements:

• Apprenticeship trained in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (multi-skilled)
• Must have relevant experience
• Experience in circuits and control systems
• Good leadership skills

Knowledge / Experience:

• Prior knowledge and experience of operations.
• Good leadership skills
• Good work ethic
• Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Electrical fault finding skills.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Organise and control effective maintenance and repairs of all equipment including procurement of spares etc.
• Must complete all work within set timescales dictated by production/customer requirements. Hourly/daily updates.
• Lead key maintenance improvement activities while supporting others
• Communicate effectively with team, shift leaders, facility maintenance and press operations to ensure all issues are resolved correctly and in a timely manner.
• Undertake basic tasks expected of supervision level 1 within the business.
• Agree a repair plans and cascade through the 3 shift cycle
• Monitor daily workload and priorities labour effectively day-day and weekly
• Interrogate Pirana for root cause and data.
• Updating and Monitoring of Key maintenance repair performance Data and act on results
• Issue of PTW and conduct Risk Assessments
• Ensure company systems are updated.
