Full Job Description

Mechanical design Engineer
Our client Ltd are a fabrication and mechanical Engineering service providing in house and on site support for industries such as, food processing, manufacturing and packaging, utilities, clean and waste water treatment sectors and general manufacturing and production. They also offer services such as sheet metal fabrication and mechanical services.
The successful candidate will design and innovate new engineering projects. They will produce engineering drawings and collate bills of material. They will communicate effectively and liaise with both clients and the team to ensure the project is successful.
Principle Responsibilities:
· Design products and complete technical drawings.
· Design and issue sales concept drawings and liaise with clients for design approval.
· Coalition of bills of material.
· Carry out surveys on site.
Key Requirements
· Competent (Minimum 5 years experience) in using a 3D CAD drawing package.
· Mechanical background.
· Good knowledge of tolerances and materials
· Experience working in a food production environment would be desirable, but not essential.

· Excellent organisational, planning, project, and time management skills
