The Recruitment Co are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our client in West Yorkshire.

Our client is a leading company in the Building Services Engineering Sector, and they require a talented individual to join their thriving Design Engineer Department.

There are a variety of roles available on both the Mechanical and Electrical sides of Design engineering ranging from Intermediate all the way up to principal level.
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

• Be fully competent with AutoCAD and have knowledge design software including Hevacomp/CYMAP/MEPworx.
• They will also be fully competent at running calculations and designing heating, ventilation, cooling systems, above ground drainage, utilities, BMS controls, gas systems, domestic water systems.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or higher qualification in Building Services or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• They will also have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in a building services-related role.

The Senior and Principle jobs roles have a few more requirements a dn if you are applyiong for these roles a further job spec will be provided. Here are a few responsibilities you would need to be put forward for those roles.

• Responsibilities to oversee all design projects at a high level, assist more junior roles with technical aspects of project design, technical checking and verification of design information and upfront high-level design works with client facing design meetings to establish the project design brief to be produced in a report format and distributed to the design team.
• Professional experience, minimum of 5+ years in a building services related role.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 Intermediate Level

£35,000 to £40,000 Mid Level

£40,000 to £45,000 Senior Level

£45,000 to £50,000+ Principal Level

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 (although there is flexibility to start an hour and a half earlier than 9 or an hour and a half later as long as shift is completed)
