Our Public Sector Client currently seeks a Full-Time Temporary ongoing Medical Secretary based in Craigavon

This is an ongoing temporary position

Hours of work Mon-Fri 9.00am- 5.00pm (37.5hours per week)

Rate of pay £11.11 per hour

Duties include:

Provide admin & secretarial support to teams across all MUSC clinical admin teams as required and appropriate to the band to include cover as and when necessary to ensure an effective secretarial service is maintained in the absence of colleagues.
2. Audio typing letters from Digital Dictation in a timely manner. Escalatingany concerns with backlogs/missing dictations to Personal Secretaries/Service Administrator.

3. Record and update information on the Patient Administration System(PAS) or other computerised information systems.

4. Ensure all patients casenotes are appropriately maintained in accordance with Trust policies and procedures
5. Assist with validation & production of reports as required
6. Maintain manual and computerised filing systems for the department

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in the use of Microsoft office Word
• Experience of Minute Taking in a formal setting.
• 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language or equivalent / higher qualification
• AND 1 years’ experience in a clerical /administrative role
• OR 2 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role
