The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Trainer/ Assessor to join our clients growing team based in the Llanelli area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £30,072 p.a

Hours of work: Days / Full time 37 hours p.w

Responsible For:

Support the plant for the training and assessment for all employees required to operate a mobile plant. To keep and maintain accurate records. To liaise with Colleges and Shift managers to ensure training is conducted. To hold training and progression reviews. To ensure all skilled employees are trained to the required standards.

Key Requirements:

• Required to create and deliver classroom based and practical training
• Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders
• Strong technical knowledge and plant knowledge
• Work with the Training Controller to establish any funding opportunities

Knowledge / Experience:

• Able to Train Others
• Develop and introduce a robust induction programme
• Excellent knowledge of all areas of plant and comprehensive knowledge of mobile plant locations

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of training database
• Create training plans and liaise with Shift manager to limit the impact on production
• Selection and Induction of new employees
• Coaching and mentoring of new and existing employees
• Create and deliver training to skilled employees
• Support the H&S department in implementing new standards
• Able to drive and embrace change
