The Recruitment co are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Operations Manager based in Haydock.

Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the night shift team and ensuring the
smooth and efficient running of the warehouse operation. As a key contact for all other remote
sites, the Night Shift Operations Manager will play a vital role in maintaining strong communication
and collaboration across all branches.
With this in mind we are looking for an experienced leader, with excellent communication skills, an
inventive approach and very high standards to join our successful team.
Working closely with the depot supervisory team, the Night Shift Operations Manager
responsibilities will include the following:
? Manage and supervise the night shift team, ensuring they are meeting KPIs and performance
targets.
? Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures,
and standards.
? Develop and maintain a strong team culture, fostering a positive and productive work
environment.
? Monitor and control stock handling, ensuring that stock accuracy is maintained and stock
discrepancies are minimised.
? Collaborate with other managers and teams to ensure effective communication and
coordination of activities across all remote sites.
? Ensure that all orders are processed and fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
? Use data to identify areas of improvement and develop and implement strategies to
increase efficiency and reduce costs.
? Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting any issues or areas for
improvement.

Key Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager within a warehousing environment, with a
track record of managing and developing a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in ensuring compliance with
legislation and company policies and procedures.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets
and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other
managers and teams across all remote sites.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identify areas for improvement and
implement effective strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Flexible working approach, with the ability to work night shifts and occasional weekends as
required
Evidence of working in a fast paced and high volume environment.
