Customer Service Advisor – Non Vocal via Email and Social Media

Based in Burnley (Work from Home)

Start date – Monday 22nd August 2022

Offering £9.50 per hour – paid weekly, every Friday!

Please note – this role is working from home but if successful, candidates MUST be able to commute to Burnley for training and ad-hoc office days. Whilst working from home you will need to have your own laptop or desktop computer and reliable Broadband connection.

We are currently recruiting for one of the leading online retailers for their existing customer service team. This company is hugely established in the industry and is growing constantly, so we are looking for someone who is driven with long term aspirations within customer service/office work.

You will be provided with full training for this role and supported throughout the process so if you haven’t done this type of role before don’t worry – it’s all about attitude and willingness to learn. This is an ongoing temporary role for 12 weeks with a view to then go permanent so we’re looking for candidates who are wanting a long term position.

Training Schedule
Week 1: 3 days in Burnley, 2 WFH
Week 2: 5 days WFH
Week 3: 3 days in Burnley, 2 WFH
Week 4: 5 days WFH
You will then have a further 5 days in the office across the 12 week period to then move to WFH.

What will you be doing?

  • Responding to customer queries across various IT and Social Media platforms, queries will be in connection to; refunds, exchanges, sizing, deliveries, product/stock enquiries etc.
  • Providing a first time resolution to customers in a professional but personable manner – ensuring to go above and beyond for each customer whilst meeting their wants, needs and desires.
  • Make each response personal and tailored to the customer
  • Working as part of a supportive team
  • Being a representative for the client and the brand, ensuring to have the customer as well as the brand at the heart of everything exchange.
What are we looking for?
  • Previous experience within customer service – this could be anything from retail, hospitality etc – call centre experience is not essential! We are looking for candidates with the right attitude and personality, if you have the willingness to learn and a fantastic personality this could be the perfect role for you!
  • A keen eye and interest in fashion would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent IT and computer skills.
  • Strong communications skills – you will be communicating via written channels only, exceptional written skills are a must have!
  • Able to adapt your approach and style to suit the customers needs and provide a tailored service.
  • Hardworking and driven
  • Someone looking for a long term role that will allow them to build a genuine career.
Pay Rate:
  • £9.50 per hour paid weekly, every Friday!
Hours of Work:
Full Time, 40 hours per week between:
  • Monday – Sunday, working 5 days out of 7
  • Shifts between 7am-10pm
  • Working typically 1 in 3 weekends
  • All candidates must be fully flexible to work on a rota basis.
