ROLE TITLE: Nursery Manager
SALARY: 28-35K depending on experience
LOCATION: Billinge, Wigan
40 hours a week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30am – 6pm.

My Client is looking for a dedicated individual who is looking for the opportunity to be a Nursery Manager in our friendly setting, as part of a supportive team. A natural leader that possesses excellent time management and people skills with the ability to lead a team using existing skills, and experience with a passion for learning. This role would suit a highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and creative person.

Leadership tasks include:
· Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Nursery.
· Achieving our very high standards of quality care and education; ensuring all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
· Lead and manage the staff team, including responsibility for the recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training, and support.
· Ensuring all policies and procedures are always implemented and adhered to; including ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that all internal company policies and procedures are followed.
· Keeping up to date with current early childhood thinking/trends
· Maintaining positive parent liaison programmes; to be influential in developing strong links with parents and carers
· To implement sound financial & marketing strategies, that ensure maximum occupancy.

The ideal applicant:
· Must have experience working at a Senior Level within a nursery setting.
· Must be at least Level 3 qualified.
· An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.
· Experience of managing/supervising staff.
