Our client seeks a Part- Time Customer Service Administrator in Craigavon

The key purpose of this role is to deal efficiently and accurately with a wide range of customer enquiries, primarily via incoming telephone calls but also though other channels such as email, Twitter, Facebook and Web based chat.

This position is part-time 24 hours per week on a rota basis

If the client is particularly busy there will be an expectation to be able to do extra hours to help with the business needs.

Rate of pay £11.73 per hour

Duties include:

  • Managing customer queries by phone, social media and email
  • Carrying out administration and other related duties as required during times of low call activity
  • Providing call handling service in line with current NIE Networks customer service guidelines
  • Recording fault and emergency customer enquiries on relevant NIE Networks IT systems
  • Ensuring hazard and other escalated calls are directed to the Shift Leader in real time
  • Ensuring effective communications with other NIE Networks internal departments
  • Capable of responding during escalations and times of staffing issues.

Full training and development will be given to the successful candidate. As part of the commitment of this role we do require flexibility to work additional shifts during adverse weather conditions or emergency situations however as mentioned above overtime payments are made.

Essential Criteria:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above or 2 years previous experience in this role
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to resolve customers queries effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process information effectively and consistently.
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing difficult customers and resolving customer complaints
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite including word, excel, zoom and outlook.
  • Capable of operating social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Builds trust easily and generates feelings of goodwill, enabling successful collaboration and more productive outcomes. Is honest and authentic and acts with integrity, showing consistency, and being credible.
