Job Title: Payroll Administration clerk

Location: Leeds, LS14 1NG
Job Type: Permanent – basic hours Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00
Salary: Up to £25K (Full Time) – dependant on experience
Start date: Immediate
We are looking for a hardworking and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Payroll Administrator. Working under the direction of our Finance Director across three companies, so a pro-active work ethic and a great attitude are essential!   • Collating data from various sources from our wide network of remote sites into one format
  • Approving agency and subcontractor timesheets
  • Processing all PAYE staff payroll through CIS and Opera
  • Sending all pension data through to the relevant provider
  • Adding new starters
  • Processing leavers
  • All other adhoc payroll tasks


  • Ensuring that the company is compliant with all of the rules of restrictions set out by the ICO.
  • All policies are current, up to date and match the practises the company follows.
  • Dealing with any data subject access requests – this includes every item the company has in their possession that pertains to an individual’s personal data. Liaising with ICO to ensure compliance.
  • Once data is collected, it then needs to be redacted so that it has no details relating to the company’s day to day dealings and that nobody else’s details are visible either.


  • Previous experience in a construction company (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in a standalone Payroll role (Essential)
  • Previous experience running end to end payroll (Essential)
  • Previous experience with Opera & CIS (Preferred)
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resilient
  • Have a positive, optimistic attitude.
  • High attention to detail, taking pride in your work.
  • Must be a team player.
