Job Title: Post Operative Advisor
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
Salary: £20,000 per annum (with progressive pay-scale)
Location: Bolton BL1 (Office Based)

Key Tasks

• To co-ordinate the medical pathway for post-operative scheme patients, ensuring that care is provided within allocated time-frames, to accurately record all external appointments attended as part of the Clinics Post-Operative Scheme.
• Handling emergency appointment information to ensure, out of process, not planned appointments are captured and recorded in the system in a re-portable format.
• To monitor and rectify any delays to incoming post-operative reports opticians.
• Working closely with the Service Promotions Executive to ensure all post operative appointments and documentation is up to date and recorded.
• To extract all clinical information from the patient health record
• To input all outpatient appointments onto the Patient Administration System within agreed timescales.
• To communicate effectively with clinicians and administration colleagues as required.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to manage own workload.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to learn new ICT systems
• Experience in a data entry role
