We are looking for a hard working, motivated Press Brake Operator with at least 5 years experience that are looking for a new career in a family run, diverse and exciting company based in the Bishop Auckland area.

This is a permanent position.

Hours: 39hrs per week, early finish Friday’s!
Salary: £27,300-£31,500pa depending on experience

The Job

• Working with a variety of different materials
• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and depth to ensure precise bending and shaping of the metal
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications, dimensions, and quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

  The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience in setting and operating CNC Press Brakes
• Is able to read technical engineering drawings
• Has a keen eye for quality and detail and takes pride in the work they are producing
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Is looking for a long term career in which they can use their previous skills and knowledge to grow and thrive
