We are currently recruiting for a Full time, Permanent position for the right candidate working as a Transactional Procurement Manager in Derby.
Hybrid working and will be required to come to the office at least one/two day/s a month –
Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 Hours

Banding: Band-7
Salary £41,659
Job role
Deliver a strategic procurement service for both internal and external customers and contributes significantly to the delivery of allocated procurement projects within key markets, ensuring contract compliance, sustainable cost improvements, and a range of benefits across the region.
Gather and analyse comprehensive data on products and suppliers to support portfolio and category analysis.
Car driver / owner or reasonable alternative to travel between customer sites.
Experience and skills

• Significant senior procurement experience, including managing tender processes. Experience of managing relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Experience of project managing complex projects from initial planning to contract
• award.
• Ability to plan and deliver presentations to large groups including explaining complex and/or contentious issues.
• Experience of managing relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Skills for nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks.

• Skills for communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion
