An opportunity has become available at a cheddar cheese manufacturing company situated in the Somerset countryside for a full time or part time production operative, working in the Dairy Industry.

This production operative role is based REDHILL, between Bristol Airport and Winscombe and is not accessible by public transport, so own transport is needed.

If you’re looking for a hands-on role as a production operative, this is the job for you!

Working in a small team, within the food manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for cutting and turning (cheddaring) cheese before putting it through a cutting machine.

This requires manual labour, operating machinery, attention to detail, working at a steady pace, good hygiene practices, some quality control skills and working to deadlines.

Hours:

• Part Time:12pm to 5pm Monday to Friday (25 hours weekly)
• Full Time: 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Pay rate:

• £11.51 per hour.

There is a farm shop on site and a cafe.

This is an ongoing role with the opportunity for a permanent position!
