Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in the Belfast area is looking for an Programme Manager to join their team.

Duration: Initially expected to last for 6 months

Rate of pay: £27.33

Location: Belfast

Hours: 8 – 10 days per month (14.50 Hours)

Main Duties:

To support departments in implementing the Child Criminal Exploitation Action Plan, including developing toolkits and practice guidance to better disrupt all forms of child exploitation. To assist in the development of an enhanced child protection system with all forms of exploitation on a continuum of harm, including criminal, sexual, trafficking, online, radicalisation and other emerging forms of child exploitation. Work with partners in SBNI, PSNI and SPPG. The role will also necessitate work on implementation of inspection findings where applicable.

Essential Criteria:

– Direct experience of working in a criminal justice agency or body at a senior level and with responsibility for the pursuit of criminals involved in child exploitation and abuse.
– Skilled and confident in liaison with police and other relevant partners.
– Experience of working in an environment familiar with the law as it relates to child protection and protection from exploitation and abuse.
– Knowledge of broader criminal justice and public protection system in NI

-Experience of developing and organising multi-agency training.
– Experience of data development and analysis.
– Working at a strategic level with policy officials to deliver improved outcomes for children at risk
– Not currently a serving police officer, but experience of working in or with the police would be an advantage.
