The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our clients team based in the Baglan area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £22,860 p.a

Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Purpose of the role:
To support the QA Department with regards to the specific tasks as detailed below to achieve departmental and Plant objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the Quality Management Document Control System – Review, approval and issuing of Quality System Documents
• Manage Change Control activities – Logging of Changes, organise change meetings, monitoring changes and ensuring closure of changes
• Manage deviations system – Logging, monitoring and closure of deviations.
• Provide support in SAP activities
• Providing support for addressing non-conformance’s and identify and assist with improvements to processes & systems of work
• Support Internal & External Audits
• Perform duties in accordance with principles for GMP and safe working practices
• Consult with other organisational functions to strongly communicate requirements and ensure goals are achieved.
• Any reasonable duties as requested by QA Systems Manager

Key competencies and skills required:

• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Confident and coherent communicator
• Ability to work independently but adaptable to work as part of a team
• Experience of working in Manufacturing environment
• Good time management & organisational skills
• Experience of working to ISO9001 requirements.
• Computer/Numeracy Literate (minimum requirements: word/excel/access)
• Document control experience
• SAP experience – Audit qualification.
