We are currently recruiting for Researchers to start asap with Northern Ireland Civil Service to start in the BT4 Stormont area.
Rate of pay: £16.80ph
Duration: ASAP until 31st March 2023
Hours of work: 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm
Job duties:
- Review Management:
- ? Assist in the management of the Review through ongoing engagement with the Review Team, senior colleagues and other external and internal stakeholders.
- ? Assist in the management of Review resources.
- ? Support the development of Review plans and documentation.
- ? Ongoing monitoring of progress against plans.
- ? Establish and maintain Review Website and associated engagement and communications plans.
Research:
- ? Undertake various research identified and required to facilitate the Review as it progresses, e.g.
- o Undertake research on the structure and extent of Family Support Services throughout NI.
- o Undertake research on funding and expenditure on children’s social care services in NI;
- o Undertake research on workforce data and information in respect of professionals and practitioners engaged in the delivery of children’s social care services in NI.
Review Governance:
- ? Assist in identifying risks / issues and ensuring maintenance of respective logs.
- ? Assist in the development and maintenance of milestone plan.
Review Team Support:
- ? Support the provision of appropriate guidance to the Review Team on Review delivery.
- ? Provision of templates to PRINCE 2 standards.
- ? Drafting highlight reports, ensuring progress against plans and key milestones is monitored.
- ? Assisting in monitoring the delivery of the Review in line with agreed ToR.
- ? Preparation of papers and minute taking at Review meetings.
- ? Providing support to Review Team visits.
- ? Support the Review Team in terms of research and evidence/information gathering.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- ? Attending and supporting stakeholder engagement events as required.
- ? Assisting with calls for evidence.
Financial:
- ? Approval of purchase orders.
- ? Assist with monitoring of Review spend.
- ? Draft business cases for Review spend as necessary.
Line Management:
- ? No direct Line Management responsibilities (although this may be required if it is necessary to recruit additional secretariat staff at lower grades).
Briefings:
- ? Draft briefing for Minister of Health, senior officials and the Health Committee as required.
- ? Draft responses to AQWs, AQOs, INV and CORR cases.
