Service Administrator – Maldon – Permanent
We are seeking an organised and proactive individual who has gained previous experience working within an administrative or coordination role managing engineers. Our client, a well established, local technical company is looking for a self motivated and friendly individual to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for:
Liaising with customers via email and the telephone regarding service and warranty issues or requests
Booking service visits with the end user and contractors
Producing and issuing service and remedial reports and quotations within strict deadlines
Raising invoices for works
Producing job packs for engineers prior to them attending site
Providing status updates to customers at regular intervals
Servicing key accounts within the business
Coordinating spare parts to site for work to be carried out
Creating sales orders
Handling quality issues
Dealing with warranty claims and all associated paperwork and processes

Essential skills:
Strong computer and literary skills
Previous, recent experience within an administrative role where you are accustomed to liaising with clients and internal teams and have coordinated engineers
Ability to successfully plan and schedule your own workload – you must be able to demonstrate examples of this at interview
Previous project management experience would be highly advantageous
