We are currently looking for a sheet metal worker in Fishpond for a engineering company. This is the best time to join the team as they are in expansion phase of increasing their engineering team.

In this role you will be producing sheet metal items using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium

Shift:
Full time, 39 hours Monday to Friday.

• Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm

Pay:

• £33,000 annually based on experience.
• Overtime paid time and half

Main Duties:

• Inspection Sheetmetal, Fabrication and Machined parts using appropriate inspection equipment and techniques.
• Working to inspection specifications and drawings, confirming with quality acceptance standards.
• Completing inspection documentation as necessary including logging first offs and final inspection reports.
• Escalate issues that affect daily output.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience in fine limit sheet metal work.
• Proven experience in reading technical drawings.
• Proven experience in working to high specification.
