We are currently recruiting Summer Scheme Staff to join our client in Ballymena on a temporary basis 

1. £11.59 per hour

2. 18 – 24 hours per week for 3 weeks (as and when required)

3. Starting 24th July – 11th August 2023

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:

1.Work with a range of young people (5-11year olds) in a Play Work setting in various locations across the Borough. Deliver quality play opportunities to children attending our Summer Schemes.

2. Work with a range of staff and volunteers to programme and deliver a range of activities including arts and crafts, games sessions, drama, dance and sports. Supervise and organise trips away from the centre.

3. Adhere to councils Health and Safety and Safeguarding policies with regards to working with young people.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs Grace A-C, including English Language

The successful candidate must have a coaching qualification in sports, physical education or teaching or Youth Work Qualification

The successful candidate must have experience working in Summer Schemes and/or experience in assisting the development and implantation of large – scale activity events

Applicants must have an understanding of he responsibilities and practical aspects of working with children/young people

Must hold a valid Driving licence

Previous experience as a Summer Scheme Assistant or experience in the organisation of large scale activity events
