SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – TEAM LEADER – £60,000 to £70,000 – REMOTE WORKING & OCCASIONAL OFFICE VISIT- CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & TRANSFORMATION COMPANY – NORTHAMPTON
A well established, forward thinking, customer focused company in Northampton, are now looking to complement their team with an experienced Senior Software Developer – Team Leader.
As Team Leader you will be managing a small, professional IT team and working with a qualified, committed and motivated company team, who together have built an outstanding reputation for producing successful innovations for their clients.
We are looking for a proactive Team Leader with a track record of guiding projects from conception to completion, while coaching, motivating and developing your team. You will demonstrate your expertise in not only Java development, techniques and approaches, but also provide expertise for each agile sprint planning session and be able to commit to and project goals, spending time developing, testing and releasing software changes alongside your team.
In this role you will enjoy a fantastic level of flexibility, we are looking for a forward-thinking self-led IT Team Leader, passionate about projects and business functions, system administration and internal reporting solutions.

The Ideal Candidate
- The ability to work closely with other heads of department to support various projects across the organisation, in a timely manner
- Able to oversee any necessary security improvements as part of continuous review and improvement, to reduce risk, maintain accreditations etc
- To play a key role in internal and external audits and manage the team in delivering internal MI reports that bring together financial, resource, project, and roadmap data
- Experience in leading a team and able to bring expertise of Java and Spring Boot development
- Great communication skills
- Team Manager who provides a high level of service to clients, their team and the company
