Town Centre Warden – Donaghadee

We are currently recruiting a Town Centre Warden on behalf of our Public Sector Client Ards & North Down Council.

• Summer position – 8 weeks (July & August)
• 28 hours per week (Evenings)
• £11.73 per hour

Maintenance of the town centre environment in a clean and tidy condition, identifying and reporting matters requiring attention and dealing with enquiries/complaints from the public in a timely manner.

Job duties:

1. Provide a point of contact for the local community in respect of town centre maintenance and exercise initiative regarding ongoing town centre cleansing issues which need to be resolved, ensuring priorities are determined appropriately.
2. Undertake routine litter picking duties (including removal of dog fouling and chewing gum).
3. Key holder, responsible for opening and closing facilities at specified times as directed and undertake cleaning and maintenance of public conveniences.
4. To undertake any other appropriate duties as may be allocated from time to time in accordance with the general nature of the post.
