We are currently seeking skilled professionals to join client team as Contract Maintenance Technicians. If you have experience in the Food and Drink industry FMCG and possess a passion for ensuring machinery and equipment operate at peak performance, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Position: Contract Maintenance Technician Location: Market Drayton Pay: £38 per hour INSIDE IR35 PAID VIA UMBRELLA Shift: 4 on 4 off (4-4 shift), 12-hour shifts Duration: Ongoing Contract (Minimum 6 months)

Responsibilities:

• Observe, recognize, and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure, providing CMMS data.
• Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Examine machinery and equipment, reporting on condition, performance, and recommending improvement plans.
• Perform Planned and Preventative Maintenance according to agreed schedules.
• Interpret and implement technical service instruction data.
• Complete planned corrective and performance improvement work.
• Coach operators on asset care tasks.
• Identify improvements and implement them within the OE (Operational Excellence) framework.
• Identify life cycle issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Utilize and support simple 5WHY OE techniques and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) techniques through to long-term solutions.
• Support departmental 5s programs for workshops and stores, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Facilitate the continuous transfer of knowledge and best practices.
