Vehicle Technician – Edinburgh

The Recruitment co, are supporting a local garage who are looking to appoint a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. Our client, take pride in taking care of their staff and have a very low staff turnover.

The role

Carry out vehicle servicing along with repairs and diagnostics. Having experience within MOT testing would pose an advantage, but is not essential. They are looking to upskill someone to be able to do this.
Progression to workshop manager is offered in this exciting role.

Requirements

• Vehicle technician experience
• Automove (2 years)
• MOT testing is desirable but not required

Skills

• Carrying out inspections and carryout required repairs
• Test vehicles so that they are safe to be on the road
• Service and fit vehicle accessories
• Discuss required repairs with customers

• Solid Diagnostic experience and high voltage experience.
• Master tech sought after, would consider Master tech experience from range of brands.
