The Recruitment Co are delighted to be recruiting for a Welder for our client based in Forfar.

Pay rate: £13.50 – £14.50 Per Hour

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary – Permanent

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 4pm. Optional overtime is available

Duties:

  • Operating bench and band saws, ironworkers, grinders, folders, tube benders & pedestal drills
  • Reading and working from technical drawings (prepared by the in-house draughtsmen)
  • Welding to BSEN150 3834
  • MIG & TIG Welding

What we are looking for:

  • Engineering & Fabrication background
  • The ability to work safely, effectively and productively with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify problems.
  • Good communication skills and can anticipate the needs of others when communicating and check for understanding.
  • The ability to work both as part of a team or on an individual basis
