The Recruitment Co are recruiting for 3.5 tonne Multi-Drop Drivers for a food production company based in Irlam M44.

Description of the role:

6am starts each day – routes are planned for 8 hours.
The vehicle is loaded for the driver but there may be dispatch delays driven through factory delays, but management will always support and load the vehicle.
All deliveries are done with a hand held device which is provided.

Typical route:

Anything from 15-25 deliveries to all types of locations, including businesses, schools, pubs, restaurants, hotels, and hospitals
Deliveries are made to the kitchens and not receptions. It is the Chef’s responsibility to check the order off at the point of delivery, so waiting at delivery points may occur.
Deliveries vary from 1 box containing 1kg to a couple of hundred kilo orders.
Trolley’s are provided to support with delivering.
The company delivers nationwide so deliveries / routes can have some mileage. However, the further the distance, the less deliveries you will have.
Local drops will be approximately 25 deliveries, further afield would be approximately 10-15 deliveries.

Basic Rate – £11.50 per hour
Overtime after 48 hours – £15.30 per hour
